Ihre Aufgaben
As a team member of the Europe-wide Credit Risk department, you will also be active internationally, but your geographical focus will be in NRW. Your varied and challenging tasks in detail:- Analysis and evaluation of large corporate client exposures (especially car dealer groups and fleet clients) with complex legal and financing structures from several European companies
- Credit approval competence for loans above the local competence as representative of the back office for the European companies
- Best practice transfer in the valuation of loan collateral, cash flow analyses and short-term income statements
- Observance of the MaRisk requirements of the back office in the European companies
- Conducting individual training of local risk managers in other national companies to improve their knowledge of the commercial lending business
- Ensuring that measures to reduce the risk of the commercial loan portfolios are implemented by the respective local management
- Preparation of guidelines and best practice documents for the management of credit default risks in the European regions in cooperation with the local risk managers in the other European companies and the Risk Director.
Ihr Profil
- Successfully completed business studies or a similar qualification
- At least 5 years, preferably more, of professional experience in the commercial international credit business
- Professional experience in a banking environment or with a financial services provider
- Knowledge of credit protection law (ideally also outside Germany)
- Experience in restructuring and insolvency processing (desired)
- Willingness to deal with conflicts and a high level of problem-solving skills
- Very good knowledge of German
